Engine Oil Change........can You Prove It's Been Done

Right I'm off again..............same subject, same ####y dealership I should have learned my lesson

 

car back from 60000 mile sevice, windscreen wiper hanging off, car badly cleaned, screen wash bottle complaining of being empty and so on

 

My quick question is "if the oil is changed..................how long till the oil goes black and looks used.

 

I ask as they claim the oil has been changed, but on checking the level the oil on the dipstick is very dark and dirty looking. I'm tempted to confront the dealers but I could do with really knowing if the oil's been changed.

If its a diesel its absolutely normal for the oil to be jet black within 30 seconds of starting the car.
